I've been an annual member of the gardens for over two years and it offers the best botanical gardens, sculpture park, and Japanese gardens in west Michigan. This time of year, they also hatch hundreds of butterflies to show people. Definitely recommend coming here multiple times. They are currently under a major expansion project projected to be completed in 2022 I believe. After that, I can't wait to see how the place looks! Thanks to all the contributors and volunteers who make this such an amazing place!

One of my absolute favorite botanical gardens to visit in the United States. Massive greenhouse. Beautiful, spacious facility with construction on new entertainment and event space. Highly recommend for frequent nature walks, educational experiences, holiday splendor, arts & entertainment, event hosting and so much. Great staff too! Hidden gem in Grand Rapids. Also there's a great area of sculptures and plants specifically for kids. It's enjoyable place for adults and youth.

Frederick Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park located on 1000 Beltline Ave. NE in Grand Rapids is one of the best garden and sculpture park in Michigan. The butterfly exhibit is beautiful and fascinating. You can get up close and personal to exquisite butterflies. The sculptures and art is a must see. At first, die to the price of entry we almost left, but we made the decision to go and we are so glad we did. I think we would have enjoyed the park with less children running afoot. If you want walk to have a walk outside and enjoy nature, art and sculptures, this is the place for you.

Such an awesome place! Will definitely got back. The Japanese garden was probably our favorite. If you see stepping stones that go off the trail make sure you walk on them to little shortcuts and little scenic path!

Frederick Meijer Gardens is a marvelous gift to this community. We took our grandson to see the butterfly exhibit for the second time in his life at age 2. He & we were were all delighted by the plants & the awesome butterflies & moths. We will be back again this year & next and many more to come.
