We were in town for vacation and I visited specifically to see their N scale layout, which is built along one wall, and they're building another level above it. The layout was featured in the Nov/Dec issue of N Scale magazine, and their unique staging area was featured in the Jan/Feb issue. The HO scale layout uses about 2/3 of the space. Both layouts have tons of detail and opportunities for operational interest. The O scale setup has a bunch of visual features, including many visitor interaction items that were covered up due to the pandemic. Nice guys. I enjoyed my visit!

What an amazing display of trains!!! My boys are obsessed with trains, so when I was planning our trip to Myrtle Beach, I did some research and found this place! I think it is great that these volunteers put in all of this time and effort to keep these train displays going! The guys that were there were friendly and let my children push buttons to make sounds! I love that they have several movable stools for children to get on and make viewing easier!
Mr. Tidd was fantastic telling us all about the trains how long it took to build. Of you want to see train exhibit you need to go. Loved it
Great model railroad club, with excellent craftsmanship. The club members are very friendly and knowledgeable. A must see for railroad hobbiests.
This place is great. The club members have put so much time into building these train sets and they are so nice and more than willing to take as much time with you to show you all around the trains and scenery.
Awesome display, so many trains and layouts, friendly welcoming members. The members talked to us and answered our questions *****
I really appreciated this place when they first opened. My son loved trains for years. I took him there often, when we visited Myrtle Beach. The last time was bitter sweet, it's just the same as it has always been. You guys need to get creative, mix it up a little. Add something new, maybe you have, but it goes unnoticed. Do something to spice things up, put a big @! Train horn outside, let the kids pull it. New pictures, more history, something.
Well website says they were open but they were not drove 3 hrs from Charlotte N.C.
