We had the best experience renting XC skis from Grand Traverse Bike Tours. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond helping us get fitted for our skis and recommending nearby ski trails. We will definitely be back!

We did the self guided bike tour! We stopped at 5 wineries and 1 cidery on our route! Things we loved: - free reusable water bottle at check in - map provided with tasting tips - lunch provided (gluten free available- wrap vs crackers vs bread) - text their phone line and they will pick up your wine purchases and drive them to the bike shop for free - bikes are comfortable Things we didn't love: - hills! The bike path is relatively flat but to get to the wineries there are some steep hills (see picture)

Super easy to rent a bike, they allow you to drop off a bike after hours too! They provide helmet and lock. Vineyards are all pretty close, and they have a map to help. There is a bike trail close to the shop that gets you close to all the vineyards.

Easy to use website to reserve the bikes. Checking the bikes in and out was a breeze. Bikes were in good working order. Employees were super! Highly recommend this shop. Used the bikes to visit wineries near the TART trail.

Exceptionally fun day! We did the self-guided bike tour where they provide lunch at a winery and pick up all your purchases throughout the day. The staff was very helpful. We have some dietary restrictions which they were able to accommodate. The ride itself is what you make of it, you can push a bit or be more casual. Most of the trip is on a paved bike path over an old train passage. It is mostly uphill on the way out and downhill on the way back.

I went on a self guided tour with my fiance and we had the most perfect day! The stops are so fun. The bike company provides a delicious lunch. We were very impressed. We stopped at Blake Star, shady lane, and Sutton Bay Cider. All were amazing. I HIGHLY recommend going to Sutton Bay Cider. The view is amazing!!! I cant say enough good things about our bike tour. Ten out of ten would recommend to anyone and everyone!
