I was working through a production home builder, so they didn't have to work directly with me, but they were kind enough to do so anyway. They worked with us so we could pick a slab we actually liked, could be cut the way we wanted, and even worked with us to get a serving slab and lazy-susan. All within a week so we could keep our original deadlines, replying a few times each day by email to do so. Good communication and final install looks good. a very good experience

Completely mis cut the first slab of Quartz, then after they remeasured, then reinstalled the replacement slab, and the 3 hole faucet is not squared on the sink bowl. They obviously need to tune up their cnc machines, it's said that even after a 2nd try it's not completely right. But at this point I'm not doing this a 3rd time. I'd go somewhere else.

Bought Granite counter tops via Hoods and Metro was the ones who took care of the actual manufacturer and install of the tops. They were great, had great communication throughout the entire process. Both the template appointment and the install happened exactly when they said it would happen. Our installers were Nick and Sam and they were really great. Nick is sharp and kept us updated throughout the install. Highly recommend them!

Poor communication, anyone I can speak to isn't able to take action or give me contact information for someone who will, and dishonest about timelines. Ordered a granite counter from Metro after verifying timelines both with the entity I made the order through (Hoods) and Metro. Was told to expect the process to take (one to) two weeks from the initial order & that I would be contacted by a scheduler within 48 hours. I made my order on a Tuesday and verified that it was received by Metro that day. Did not get a call until that Friday (not from the actual scheduler) telling me it would actually be FOUR weeks. Currently looking for a refund because it's been so difficult to get a hold of anyone who can give me real information and at this point I can't trust the timelines they give me which is especially problematic on a rental property renovation.
