Inside the tower, you ll see the history, a description of everything that you can see from the tower and its very beautiful. You can keep your bags in the tower, even plan on a night hike (be careful at the end with the rocks) and plan on sleeping in the tower, wake up for the sunrise and its even more beautiful. The tower is pretty big and can accommodate 4 to 5 people for sleep (comfortably, may be 10 to 12 if you squeeze in) and many more for just chilling.

Incredible experience! Went with a couple friends and went all the way to the top. A good amount of snow heading up there but the views are absolutely unforgettable. The hike is 6 miles round trip and worth every step. Go out and see this place!
This was very beautiful to see at sunset.
Rough road. Worth it though! Great views and convenient drive from Seattle area
Awesome hike! If you're going all the way to the lookout tower, which you probably are, then you should definitely bring hiking boots. I would actually say, don't do this hike without boots! I didn't bring mine when I went, and it made the scrambling very difficult. Also, you should take note that 20 percent of the hike is your average dirt trail (beginning of trail), 40 percent rocky (middle trail), 40 percent scrambling (when you get closer to the top). Be very careful with this hike. If you don't bring proper shoes, you can easily slip on the rocks when scrambling, which I did multiple times. I would also try to come here on a clear day, because if it's cloudy then you can't see anything from the tower. P.S. The road to the trail head is like 3-4 miles up an unpaved, huge pothole ridden road (every meter). I suggest bringing a decent car up the road.
