I switched from an OB to grapevine birthing center at 34 weeks pregnant with my first baby after I toured the beautiful place I knew it was where I wanted to be! I had the most amazing birth experience this place is truly awesome and everyone there cares so much about you and your baby. At every appointment they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of! The birth day it’s self was magical! They really helped keep me relaxed during my water birth! Midwife Joy was perfect for me and could pretty much read my mind at every appointment and always put me at ease... she delivered my daughter and really brought a lot of peace into the birth room as well as Stephanie and Debbie the Doula! I could not have done it without them. I highly highly recommend!

I went here for a blood gender test and had a very pleasant experience! They ladies were very nice!! The appointment was so quick no more than about 10-15mins and I got my results back from Sneak Peek the very next day around 6pm.

I gave birth in December 2019. My prenatal care was phenomenal. I learned alot and felt comfortable the entire time. They give you great counsel and are obviously very educated and experienced. My labor was a breeze. I came in and had my baby 4 hours later. The stairs helped baby descend. They have every tool you can imagine to help with a natural birth. It was wonderful. However, the labor part COULD have been terrible if it weren't for my husband. *Their water heater was not working the night I went into labor. My husband and midwife had to leave me alone for a while to figure it out. (Handy husband to the rescue!) The issue was fixed in time and I had the water birth I wanted. *BUT I found out about the water heater issue by jumping into a cold shower when I was deep in labor. My husband helped dry me off and went to fix the issue. It was stressful and the last thing I wanted was to be cold. *I'll also add- this was not a huge deal but bothersome- when we arrived to GBC, the door was locked. We had to wait a little while in the cold outside. *Lastly and most irritating -my pp pap smear results had an irregular result. It took them a complete month to notify me! How did they notify me? Well I actually requested the results so who knows when they planned on contacting me! The results required an immediate visit with an OBGYN. I was upset that I wasn't notified on the date they recieved the diagnosis. A few days would have been fine but a month is extreme. *My actual last point- GBC never contacted me about any other results. I was the one asking what my results were. They say no news is good news which is why I waited so long to follow up on the pap smear. You just have to make sure you call them to see what your results were! All in all, I am grateful for their care. I truly did have an overall good experience.

I’m not at all new to midwifery and I will say these ladies at Grapevine Birthing Center have given me the best experience I’ve ever had. From health care to personal care they have catered to every area and my family and I will be forever grateful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone because they are worth it and the experience they give is worth it.
