I LOVED this place! The salon is in a very cool old 2 story victorianish house. The decor, at least in the halls and the room I got my haircut in, were very interesting. They had records on the ceiling and all types of different knick knacks and kit about. Tim, who cut my hair, was a nice guy. He spoke when spoken to and asked me a couple questions but it was laid back. I did NOT feel, as I often do while getting my hair cut, that I was undergoing an inquisition. Finally, the products he used actually smelled good. I think it was \spiced tobacco\ but it smelled \manly\ but not overwhelming. So I did not feel like people would think I had just walked out if a French house of illrepute. I WOULD recommend it for a haircut without reservation. It was not cheap however. If you want cheap goto Sport Clips, if you want an upscale haircut experience go see Tim at Renata.

Renata Salons is, s the name suggests, more of a salmon, that caters to women. Its not 8n your typical brink and mortar bad. Its actually in a century old house (built back in 1895). But in a separate walled of section of this house,, there's a Barbershop. Kailey took my appt over the phone and she was quite pleasant. i had a haircut with Jim. There are two Barbers there. The other guy and his wife actually own the place. I liked how they decorated the place (room), which felt more like a cool man-cave. They also offer you a drink. They have all these albums (records) pasted to the ceiling. So that was a cool thing to look at and reminisce about the artists from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Jim did a good job with my haircut. Overall, thought it was a pretty cool place to check out.
Absolutely amazing haircut! AWSOME place highly recommended. Tim was spot on! Perfect haircut. My first time seeing him , most definitely will be going back from now on.
Beautiful salon and friendly staff. I was staying in the area for close to a month and having blonde highlights my roots were horrible. I was not able to get to my regular hair stylist back home for a while so I made an appointment with Chelsea. I have been with my hair stylist for over 15 years and was nervous about a new stylist touching my hair. Chelsea made me feel comfortable, was very kind, professional, and talented! She did magic to my hair. I would recommend her as your stylist from my experience!!
