We spent a beautiful fall day here while resting in between jobs. The entrance is free. They have a nice little souvenir shop on the entrance building. The Zoo is nice and pleasant to walk through it. We enjoyed seeing the animals. It was clean and my daughter loved the chickens with “sweaters “. I enjoyed the lemurs and duck pond. It’s a nice little zoo, worth stopping at while driving through Great Bend. It took us about an hour to see the whole Zoo and my daughter played in the play area for another 30 minutes. Stop by and have a look.

This zoo is quaint and its nice for an hour-long walk with little kids. We got lucky and all the animals were out.. right around closing time!
My family and I enjoy driving down to Great Bend to enjoy the Brit Spaugh Zoo! The set up is original. The the different animals, as well as being able to learn while there, is a must! They even have a butterfly farm. Bring some bread to feed the Geese and Swans. ... I would recommend this place HIGHLY!
