By far the worst housing office I've ever dealt with. This office is made up of the most unorganized group of individuals to have ever crossed paths, but they somehow found each other at the Great Lakes office. They NEVER return phone calls. I've been trying for several months to get answers. When you do finally reach someone, their response is always, \I'll be sure to have (insert name) call you\, but it never happens. Then when you call 2 weeks later to follow up, they act shocked that nobody has called, and they assure you someone will be reaching out. Guess what... never happens! This has gone on for months, and months, and months. From top to bottom, this is the absolute worst group of people to deal with when it comes to living in base housing. This office needs to be scrubbed clean and rebuilt from the top down. I'm not sure how many times they can replace the revolving door of \experienced\ personnel at this office, but they need to find someone competent and give that a try for once.

We enjoyed the 2 car garage which was helpful in the winters. The house was big, we had a four bedroom which was great living so close to home when family and friends came to visit they had a place to sleep. The maintenance crew was great and responded timely whenever we had an issue. If we ever go back to Great Lakes we will strongly consider living here again. Only things we didn’t like were the small yard and the shared driveway. Move out was really easy too! We were nervous because we had heard the stories but it was super easy.
My son and I had a pleasure in dealing with Diana Perrigan from Great Lakes Family Housing. She assisted us in selecting a place where my son could live close to his place of work. I’m truly grateful for the wonderful service! She exceeded our expectations! She’s not only professional and very accommodating, but she made us feel valued and respected. No matter what time or day, she’s there to answer any questions or concerns. I wish that all Resident Services Specialist were like her! Thank you for making it easy and less stressful! You are greatly appreciated!
it was a good place to live at. however when the navy passed on this company to manage its family housing it seems like money hungry company ramping up rent payments, customer service personnel did an average service, created new charges for tenants i.e. utility bills. Finally moved out more than a month ago. however, still they return my deposit yet!
SUCKS trying to get an actual person on the phone! Took 3 weeks of calling every day till finally some body picked up the phone and said they would walk over to housing and find someone to call me back! Had to get a private realtor to find me a place somewhere else just so I didn't have to live in a hotel when I got there.
