CoachRJ is a true professional and a nice guy. He was not only patient, but he helped build lots of confidence in my child. I would highly recommend him for private lessons, and for any chess sessions he offers. My son continues to improve his Chess game every day with the help of CoachRJ and MYM. He is truly dedicated to helping others, and we were so glad to have found him!

We signed our son up for their summer camp and have been beyond impressed with the quality of instruction he has received. All of the coaches are so good with kids (special shout out to Coach Leon, he is phenomenal). They keep it fun while also pushing them to do their best, and all over a virtual format! It's so obvious they really care about each of their students, not only in their chess skills but also their development as competitors. Our son has enjoyed every minute of the camp and has greatly improved as a chess player. I couldn't recommend this camp more, we have been so pleased with the entire operation.

My 7 yr old boy has been learning in MYM chess for the past 4 months amid the pandemic. He has been improving a lot not only his chess knowledge and understanding but also his personal behaviors like self-discipline, patience and time management. The classes are fun, a lot of interactions between the coach and the kids, and all the important points/positions are well explained. My little boy is completely in love with his chess classes, teammates and coach! We highly recommand this school to anyone who would like to learn chess or continue to acheive higher level in chess. This is the right place for learning chess.

Absolutely wonderful classes with terrific instructors. So glad that I got my son involved in this, I would highly recommend it, especially when kids are so badly in need of interaction but have to deal with restrictions for in-person interaction.
