I've shopped Green Thumb Nursery for years and they never disappoint. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and Covid safety rules are followed. The assortment of plant life boggles my mind and I never leave without at least one impulse purchase (never regretted). Green Thumb carries Edna's brand soils; I swear by the Cactus and Succulent Mix. As the weather gets warmer and Spring i around the corner, think Green Thumb Nursery, conveniently located on Victoria Street in Ventura.

Pleasant place! Lovely plants & flower plants. But I did not get what I want. I don't like theyre selections of decorative stones. Too big packages.
Wonderful place to shop for and learn about plants. Knowledgeable staff, just make sure you notify the cashier before starting check out of any cupons or discounts you may have, it seems to annoy them if you dont. Kid and pet friendly and they even have an awesome koi pond.
It’s a great nursery with wonderful staff. My only complaint is that it’s very very difficult to find a free nursery person to help with your questions, or to offer suggestions. There is almost never anyone in the booth and the workers are all busy with other things. I have walked over the entire place twice looking for help. If there was more help, we would buy more plants instead of wandering around. Of course, I sometimes know exactly what I want and I go for it, but many times I really do need the help. I would greatly appreciate a staff member walking around, making sure we are taken care of, asking whether or not we would like help. Thank you.
Awesome nursery. It was huge with many type of plants and variety. It was my first time it's a bit overwhelming I forgot to take pictures to show you how it is. Fortunately there are a lot of staffs work there and they are all very helpful. I probably looked so confused, multiple staffs asked me and offered their helps. Great experience. For the future. I would go there when I have more times or order online and just pick the plants up....
