I've been playing Greencastle for 20 years. It is obvious that this course is benefitting from additional effort, time and money. The course is gloriously green and playable yet still challenging! Understandly, greens fees have gone up a bit. Each hole is beautiful in it's own right and. This course has traditionally played long and slow. We played in 4.5 hours. #3, and #4 have moved the forward tees making it more playable. #10 has no water in front of the green now. #12 is still, imo, the most underrated on the course. #13 is awesome! #16 may be my new favorite. Greencastle Greens is my favorite ! My one concern is that there doesn't seem to be any wildlife. We saw no bunnies, no groundhogs, no chipmunks no deer or tracks, and very few butterflies. All of which use to be seen in abundance. It's thought provoking. Chemical use?

We always play your course a couple times a year since it was built. Very nice course and the conditions of the course are as good as I can remember. The only suggestion I have is to move the senior tees forward on a few holes notably on 4, 9 , 10 ,13, 16 and 18. Most courses the senior yardage is around 5500 to 5600 yards. No complaints just a suggestion.

Challenging course from white tees for our 65 group but enjoyable. Not impressed with condition of the tees and long cut on fairways. Greens were in good shape and held well. For first time on course a lot of blind shots. Would be more enjoyable after playing it once.

They were taking care of the course on a Monday morning. All good courses keep up with their fairways and greens. Best part, someone was cleaning up behind the people trimming. Everything was in great shape. Few ball marks on the greens, but that’s more the golfers fault for not repairing them rather than the courses. Overall, I had a great time and will be going back quite often.

Used to be a great course to go play. Apparently though this course decided to turn into a water park. Sprinklers were still on in the fairways at 10am on holes 3 and 4. Apparently watering overnight isn’t enough. Not exactly ideal to try and play a second shot while getting soaked. And then saying the timers are out of sync. For a course of this caliber I expect to be able to play all 18 without interference of the sprinklers. Especially during peak hours. The course pro and manager just made excuses that it’s 90 and the grass needs to stay wet. I didn’t know that the pros played in sprinkler conditions but hey maybe that’s a new rule I missed somewhere. Your customer service is a joke. And the best that can be done is a rain check. For 45 I expected better. I’ll take my business to the other local courses that actually have common sense.
