This museum is perfect for children ages 0 to at least 10. There are 'rooms' of all kinds for children to use their imaginations. A hospital, theater, grocery store, grandma's house, pizza parlor, etc. There is also a section for very young children exclusively and a water fun section. There is a separate room of transportation vehicles and the outdoor garden area (with a mud pie kitchen!) is lovely. The outdoor playscape is massive and loads of fun. They do collect diapers for charity which is wonderful and there is a code posted on the door for free parking as you exit if you had to park in the garage. Well worth a visit!

The museum had been closed due to COVID 19 since mid March. My membership was due to expire April 30th. During the whole closure they reassured members that the membership will be extended. They reopened on September 5th and said they are extending 4 months if you purchased before July. First of all why would anyone purchase a membership to a closed museum? Second that means my membership expired August 31st. When I called to see if I can still get my last month they told me no. I was going to renew my membership for another year but if that’s how you treat your members I’ll just take my business to the Natural Science Center. Most of the past year visits included a lot of “under construction” exhibits anyway.

The place itself it wonderful for children, it is clean and very child safe. However, they are either very understaffed or the staff just doesn't care. I tired calling three separate times on separate days, l left voicemails, and sent an email in an attempt to organize an event. No one ever responded. I'm sure a private event of a minimum of 50 people would have brought a decent amount of money to the museum, however the complete absence of customer service prevented that from happening. It appears they need new management.

The Greensboro Children's Museum is an amazing place to take the young ones. I brought my one year old with her cousins who are between 1 and 5 years old and all of them stayed entertained for quite a while. We stumbled upon this place through Google and decided to make a trip out here. It was well worth it for our short trip up to North Carolina.

This place was amazingly fun for all three of the kiddos! Ages 10, 8 and 5! We cane here today for my 8 year olds birthday!! From inside to outside all the stuff was really fun, interactive and educational! And shout out to JOE who is an outstanding employee!!! After we were heading out from the Children's Museum we learned we had a flat tire. (Yikes!) But Joe saved the day and changed our tire in literally 5 minutes while showing us how!!! Thanks JOE!!! You're an amazing person!
