There is simply no better outfitter in the triad (honestly, in the country) to give your money to. From the purchase of my first boat to the subsequent purchases of my gear and additional boats, the staff at Get Outdoors was always right there with me regardless of where/who I was buying from. More invested in me and my safe enjoyment of the sport than their profits. If you live in the area and have any interest in paddling you wont find a better outfitter.

I bought a used kayak a few weeks ago and needed a PFD. I was driving through Greensboro and stopped at REI, but they were out of PFDs. The REI person suggested I try Get Outdoors. I zipped over to Get Outdoors, and they had a really large selection of PFDs for women in many sizes and colors. The salesperson was very informative and helped me pick the best one based on fit, utility and price. I will be stopping at Get Outdoors the next time I'm driving through the area to pick up more gear, like dry bags and other kayaking accessories.
