They are amazing!! My son saved up his own money walking neighbors dog's carrying packages and when he had enough money we drove from Cornelius to Guilford and fell in love with Ana aka Luna they had a holiday special where you pick a ticket out of a hat and pay that price he paid 12 for our baby girl It was such a easy process everyone was Awesome!!

We rescued a young female kitty who was our neighbor's pet (not a feral) but they abandon the kitty when they moved. We called this agency in advance & were told yes they would take her in. When we arrived & filled out their paperwork, had to give our ID etc., they then refused to accept the cat. Reason was because we delivered the cat in a trap cage, which they stated is unacceptable per Governor's law. Poor kitty was rejected by animal control for a chance of a forever home because of us not knowing the humane trap container we brought her in would deny her being rescued. She is not feral. She was an abandoned pet. We had to bring her back & release her back to a life in the cold, rain, starvation, disease, parasites being hunted by coyotes, fox, turkey vultures. What a shocking & heartbreaking experience.
It was the worth wait! I change my Buddy name Kuh'Nuckles. It was worth the wait. No relation to the cartoon character!
They need to let you know when you schedule an appointment, that if you are looking for a small dog they will not have them. They let rescue places come and get the small dogs!! That is okay I guess, but then they the rescue places will turn round and charge you 300.00 dollars to get the same dog.
