They charged over 900 for some trim work in my 9ft closet and a couple of other extremely small odds and ends. I asked for an estimate over and over again and was told materials plus a little extra. They charge 32 an hour I think it was (PER PERSON) for the son to do his work and the dad to watch, occasionally run to Lowe's, and run to do other estimates. They also charge a 4 hour minimum of the same rate for his wife's bookkeeping fee. I am an Accountant - 128 to write out a handwritten bill is insane!! I did talk him down, but still paid nearly 600 for something that should have cost half that. There also was never a scheduled time - they just randomly showed up. I do have to say that the work the son did was great. The one thing the dad did was hang a rail in the stairway and he didn't even reinforce it with the wood we asked him to use and provided for him. I would NOT recommend!
