Question, If a neighbor’s pack of hunting dogs are running at large (while barking insanely) off of the owners property, are you required to snap a photo for evidence in order for animal control to come out? The area in question is wooded and not easy to clearly photograph due to trees, nor traverse through as it is quite uneven. I think I got “the run around” while dogs were running around, the irony, but I wanted to ask as I wasn’t sure. I would have left this as a question rather than a review but I didn’t see that option available. Thanks.

I could never find the words to express just how grateful I am towards Animal Cares for introducing me to these little fur angels. Noctis aka \Remus\ (to the staff at Animal Cares) is the most amazing cat ever. He is a special needs kitty with a special add on package called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. He has a very severe case and unfortunately is pretty much paralyzed from the neck down. Regardless of his condition though he is a bundle of joy, just like the tiny kitty in the other picture (Lunafreya). Animal Cares did an amazing job preparing me to take care of my special needs partner in crime and they genuinely care about the animals in their care. I have so much respect for them, and their profession and the love these people give towards our feline overlords is out of this world. If you're ever looking to adopt or foster by all means check them out. They really do care.

Very nice animal shelter that is always willing to help animals and want the best for them. However they rarely answer the phone and never respond to voicemails. I understand they are caring for dogs and are busy but I would constantly call and no answer at all. I was eager to adopt a dog from the shelter that I woke up at 7:30 to call at 8 am when the animal adoption center is open. I called more than 4 times for no one to anwer and I left a message that never received a call back. The dog I wanted to adopt was sadly already adopted later that day. I don't understand why they don't pick up their phones, this situation has happened to me more than twice. However, I am so glad all dogs are finding good forever homes. Best of luck to others!

This shelter is very disappointing. A lost dog showed up at my house and it was microchipped. We posted publicly and walked around and weren’t able to connect the dog to his family. So we decided to bring him to a shelter so they could contact the family through the microchip. However, the staff were extremely rude and not pleasant for me to work with. My roommates and I were trying to connect the dog with his family yet they were mad we were dropping him off that day. Also, it says it’s a no kill shelter, but they made me sign a paper (even though I am not his owner) saying the dog could be humanely euthanized. I was very displeased with my interaction with this shelter and would not recommend it. It is sad that people who were trying to do a good deed by bringing a dog back to its family was dealt with as we were.
