We bought our tickets ahead of time, but was not told we needed to pay extra for the blue things until we were getting our skates. Unfortunately unlike most other ice rinks, Ice in Main doesn't have a set age limited for them, so a group of teen girls used them all as my younger children had to stand with me and wait their turn for Daddy to switch out kiddos to help them skate. Face mask were not enforced and the rink was super crowded. Definitely more than half compacity. Over all Daddy still made it very enjoyable for the kids, and we did make good memories.

Friendly staff, decent prices. Rink is quite small, ice quality really poor, and skates quite awful. HOWEVER, super fun place to go to in the heart of downtown for just some casual skating or introducing your child to skating. Our family was downtown and so I took our 3. 5 year old out skating (his first time!!) and he loved it! Nostalgic moment for this mama b/c I grew up in Canada where weekly skating (as well as yearly skiiing) were as much a part of our lives as breathing.
Love our yearly tradition...even during covid-19 it's nice to give the kids some kind of normalcy . The people are so nice and respectful.
Loved it. We hadn't bought our tickets before hand though. We didn't get to skate.
It's a cute, tiny rink... Something fun to do on o school\ day.
