I called Gregory Creek To come give me an estimate for landscaping. Heather came out mid March and said she would have an estimate to me the following week. A week after the anticipated estimate I called them. Was told she’d email to me. Another week went by and nothing. Called again. They will have her call me. I finally called today. A new employee said she would get ahold of Heather and get back. The gal called back to inform me that Heather regretfully will just pass on doing our job. No reason just couldn’t do the job suddenly. She made the new employee do her dirty work. Didn’t have the decency to reach out to me personally. This is no way to do business. I reached out in March to get it started early. Asked to speak to owner or manager and was told there were none around or available. I would steer clear of this business as they appear to have little to no integrity.

This garden center is just around the corner from my house and is GREAT!! Super friendly employees and a really nice variety and selection. I went looking for mums and found these “small” mums for just 11.99! At most places these would be large ones and cost twice as much. Will definitely be back!

We had high hopes for our experience with Heather and Gregory Creek but were ultimately left disappointed. We liked their recommendations and tried to purchase more than 8 trees including hiring the company for planting and were ready to spend more than 2500. However, After being told by Heather that our trees could be planted first in oct, then Nov, then being pushed off to December without them ever initiating communication with me, and only finding out the timeline had changed after emailing Heather multiple times each month to find out my plant date, we gave up. We will take our money to a small family business that values us, as clearly they do not.

We started off with a great experience with Gregory Creek. They designed and planted several trees in the back of our property. Based on this great experience We had them design landscaping around our patio and when they arrived to install on November 6 they left without doing the work then called to tell us rhe quote was wrong. (I was home and feel they should have rang the doorbell and had the conversation in person). The quote was given in person and they saw exactly what needed to be done but the only explanation was the quote was “not professionally done”. The new quote came in a couple days later for 1200 more and although we were very upset that they were not sticking to what was agreed to in writing and we paid a deposit for we agreed to move forward; we just wanted the work done. After 3 unanswered emails and a phone call that wasn’t returned over almost 2 weeks where I was requesting the new install date I received an email that they refunded our deposit - they couldn’t get to it this year. Because they did not communicate for almost 2 weeks I was left with no time to book someone else, and were left with an unfinished yard. I responded that I was disappointed but asked what it would mean to move forward in the spring (still trying to give a new small business a chance) and I received no response. I understand things happen but I am very disappointed that they took no ownership of the situation, (seemingly) ignored my communication, and did not issue a sincere apology. I held off sharing this experience in hopes they would do something to restore my hope but as that has not yet happened I need to share my experience so others are aware, and hopefully have a much better experience than we do.

We went to look at the trees, yesterday, Friday Oct 16. There were cars in the parking lot, but no one appeared to offer us any help. We walked among the balled and burlapped trees a bit, then left. Still no one came outside. By the way, we are veteran tree planters..about 250 on our property of 2.5 acres, which looked like a football field back in 2003 when we moved in. Now we have an arboretum, and are always looking to add more. I just hope this was an off day for them. We usually get our trees from Berns.I DID have some questions.
