Working here initially wasn't a bad experience for the peak season. Some really great and fun people that changed with specific isolated individuals in management. I reported an issue on behalf of a customer who experienced racial discrimination and certain individual managers as a result created a hostile work environment for me which prompted me to vacate. I hope others do not share the same experience and a more inclusive environment is shaped in upper management and corporate to echo the employee's and their inclusive interests.

This is NOT a good company to work for. They will hire you and then lay you off after six months or later at some point. This company is known for random lay offs and they are definitely an extreme at-will employer (long term employment is not guaranteed and they do not disclose that to you). I have seen them walk out 60 employees laying them off; even employees who worked for the company for 2-4 years. Their health benefits do not cover anything but preventative so if you have a pre-existing it will not be covered at all. They will randomly deduct PTO hours after 6 months for no apparent reason. Operations Management is very unorganized. People who were management/paid salary have had their pay dropped/ decreased to hourly entry level pay. So growth within this company is pointless. They’re a client based call center (for example HKT would service calls for Airbnb which was one of the clients whom left) so if the client leaves HKT you will be out of a job (they like to tell you that they always get new clients or they’ll transfer you to another client but honestly they don’t) clients have declined on working with HKT due to their stats and reputation. They used to service Airbnb but Airbnb pulled their contract from this company, so Airbnb is no longer a client at HKT. If you are willing to work here please only work here temporarily for 90 days until you find something better. This company will lay you off at some point.
