We have had the service in place for four years. It is at my mother-in-law‘s assisted-living 12 miles from our house. The bill comes to our home. I called today to cancel the service since she had passed away. I was on the phone for 34 minutes to cancel a service it should not have taken me that long. First I was given a lady with the accent so heavy I could barely understand her questions. She went completely through everything repeating everything I told her back to me very slowly and having me spell it. After taking all of my information down and spelling it back to me, she informed me she could not help me with this I had to be transferred to another department. Where I was given to a gentleman that also had a pretty heavy accent. I went through everything again. When he got down to returning the equipment and I said my husband knows where the office is in the town he can just take it by he gets snippy with me, and said if you don’t want the information I’m going to give you you can hang up and call back and you will be on hold and go through it all again. I don’t appreciate that much I think it was rude behavior. I thought he was there for customer service. Also I believe Suddenlink is hiring people to run a phone room type thing for their customer service. Not a good plan. If you’re going to do that at least hire people that speak good English and can expedite the calls. The service itself was satisfactory for the four years we have it. I do not like the way they make a deal with their people by phone. Would not recommend them for that reason.

Got the service, was told it would be 80 bucks a month. It constantly buffers and goes out. Tried 4 days contacting them, but they dont answer, and my bill is 125 a month. They dont answer and if you push the prompt for call back, as soon as you answer, your put on hold again. Very aggravating and disappointing.

Internet works great, but they raise your monthly payment constantly. My monthly bill has almost doubled over the years.

NO customer service. All communication must be handled by text messaging to a foreign country. The “stores” they say they have DO NOT carry equipment, such as phones, etc., do NOT set up service. Basically you communicate with a robot. (No kidding!!!) Altice bought out Suddenlink and is based in the Netherlands, and owned by a French billionaire...sooo good luck! I spent A LOT of time researching this company, and texting with someone who knows NOTHING. BTW: if I could I would give them a -1 rating!
