Just reminiscing that day with my son who never seen this Resort before. He has heard stories of this beautiful place. It was owned by my parents in the 60's to the early 80's. Great memories of happiness and awesome blessing. It's a must go, to see and spend the night at this small piece of heaven. You won't be disappointed.

Nice quiet place to relax, beautiful setting. No TV or AC in cabins. Nice, cordial hosts!
Great camp site. There is an outdoor nice grill. It is impressive they added this feature. So easy for the people like me to come without having to bring a lot of gear. Wish the hot tub was still here. It's amazing that you are surrounding with giant redwoods. I would love to come back often.
Excellent precautions regarding COVID. All Staff and patrons wore masks and respected social distancing guidelines. Hand sanitizer at many locations throughout. Highlands could be a model for other businesses. We had a restful week in this beautiful location.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Very quiet little community, older style cabins, very nice pool area and love hanging out at the circle of trees. Highly recommend staying here.
It's so beautiful here and the owners Ken and Lynette are very wonderful and kind. The rest of the staff is very attentive and keep the place perfect. They just put in a new outdoor barbecue patio that's amazing.

These guys know how to take care of you. My partner and I have been going to the Highlands for at least 15 years now and it's nicely tucked away amongst the redwoods and central enough to everything you need. Armstrong park is down the street if you want to take a stroll amongst the big redwood trees. The resort is a quiet and private place to stay. Newly renovated cabins makes your stay very comfortable. They even wash our sheets with hypo allergenic detergent because my partners skin is so sensitive. 5 stars all the way!
