Gelati by mike is the best ice cream in the area! Everything about this place is amazing starting with the owner. Kevin is so friendly and always wants to make sure you’re enjoying your ice cream. The assortment of flavors is unbelievable— it is sure to satisfy any craving. This will be your new favorite ice cream spot!

Super delicious, fresh and best homemade gellato. Tried their chocolate rasberry and blueberry basil. The later one is to die for...what an amazing combination! Very friendly attendants too. Must visit!
I ordered curbside pick up. Upon arrival I called the number listed in the confirmation text. No answer! Then I texted that I had arrived and indicated where I was parked. No reply. Finally went in and picked it up myself. Great product, but now I know to not ask for curbside pickup. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.
Best homemade ice cream place out there! Super friendly staff and owner. Oh and try the banana Oreo ice cream, it’s on a whole new level. Highly recommend!!
First time here! I have to say, the employees are so friendly and they let me know right away that I could try any of the flavors first before ordering. I didn’t feel pressured to hurry up and make a decision, which is always a good thing. The sweet gal who greeted me first let me know about all of their different sections- for example, this shop has it all- gelato, ice cream, and also vegan, nut-free and gluten free ice cream selections! How many ice cream shops around offer such a vast array of choices, flavors, and dietary specialties? They also have ice cream cakes and of course soda floats! The store is clean, well lit, and filled with bright colors! They are also eco-conscious and you can choose to have your receipt emailed or texted to you. Every 5 (I think that’s the amount) you spend earns you 3 stars and although I don’t recall what enough stars will get you, its guaranteed to be something sweet!! I ordered a medium cookies and cream sundae with walnuts and hot fudge. Unfortunately they were out of hot fudge but they had chocolate syrup. The other nice employee helped with with my order of a pint of ice cream to take home. ***I have one friendly suggestion based on an on observation I made: I think the temperature of the freezers may need to be turned down a bit because some of the ice cream buckets appeared to be melting and very soft at the top. I had to put my ice cream in my freezer at home for awhile before the ice cream was firm enough to eat.*** Once I enjoyed my sundae a few hours later, I found the flavor and consistency to be creamy and delicious- like true ice cream from an old fashioned store. Hopefully they will be able to turn the temp down and stock up on that hot fudge- those things could be deal breakers for some folks. Otherwise, a very nice place! I will be back to try some gelato!
I wish we had more ice cream mochi shops in the bay. This place doesn't look cute inside, but it's right in Little Tokyo. While waiting for Daikokuya, my girlfriend and I wandered around to find some snacks to eat.
I love indulging myself with the amazing variety of gelati and ice creams Kevin has on his repertoire!! This is my go-to place for the best italian style "gelato"!!
