Beautiful environment, kind , caring staff, who get to know each and every resident, they love them like you would want your mom or dad to be loved. More like home, even has a sweet resident dog, and outdoor cats. 24 hour care, compassion & conversation if you are a night owl, no problem, early bird, they are there, with coffee and a smile.

A close family friend's mother was lucky enough to get a room here! I was able to visit on several occasions and she was always comfortable and well taken care of. I was so impressed by the friendly and personable staff and always felt right at home! If you want your family or loved one to be well taken care of in a professional and homey atmosphere this is the place for them!! Nice setting in the country and great home cooked meals! When my own grandfather needed to be in assisted living this was the first place we called! Unfortunately they were at full capacity but the helpful owner took time to give us information of other options we could look into. Excellent service all around if you ask me! ️️️️️

Mom was well taken care of and well respected, the staff treated her like family. When mom went there we thought she was on death's door. The owner and the manager called in the doctor on call, who is very knowledgeable about geriatrics. Within 6 weeks mom was back to her old self, but better. Most of the residents were mom's age and she was encouraged to eat because the other lady ate well with her too. They have group activities like arts and crafts, that was mom's favorite because she was a retired 2nd Grade school teacher. Mom had several mini-strokes but the staff took care of her, same as always. We visited almost every day. Mom and the other residents were clean, dressed in clean clothes, fed good food (we had lunch there sometimes) given their medicines, had sing-a-longs. Residents were given showers by a health care professional that worked closely with the hospital. They have their own little beauty shop, a sun porch, a large living room, large dining room, well decorated bedrooms and 4 bathrooms for 6 patients. I liked the size because mom had the kind of care she needed and was never ignored. We went with them on a recommendation, best move we made!

I highly recommend Gull Arbor. I am grateful for the loving, compassionate, quality care that my mom received. After years of living in my home, I had to make the difficult decision to transition my mother into assisted living. My desire was to keep her in a home-like environment, allowing her the care and love that she would receive from family. I was so pleased to have found that and more when we moved mom to Gull Arbor Senior Living. We were drawn to the family atmosphere and compassionate staff. The owners are involved, approachable and communicated well with each other and our family. What we didn't anticipate was how we too would become family. We had an open invitation to movie nights, daily activities, themed parties, and embraced the other residents as family as well. I was very thankful!

As a local pastor, it has been my privilege to visit this facility several times. I absolutely love it, the environment, the staff and the management. Gull Arbor has created such a beautiful home atmosphere, that truly feels like family. Every resident is cared for with such dignity, love and compassion, and the management has such a heart to encourage the absolute best for every patient. Having been in so many other facilities that are such the opposite, this facility is a treasure. I would choose it in a heartbeat for my family members or even myself if the need arose. Thank you Gull Arbor. You have truly entered into a labor of love! Our community is all the better because you are there.

This place is my first choice when I make recommendations. Wonderful staff, kind and attentive. Set in a quiet, peaceful rural setting. I have provided physician support services at Gull Arbor for several years and know the staff, their care, and the setting first hand. When my father suddenly needed care, Gull Arbor is where I sought for his care. At that time there was no space available. Openings at Gull Arbor fill quickly. I highly recommend that if you are looking for senior care that you visit Gull Arbor.

Gull Arbor is the best senior living facility our family has seen. When my mother became ill, we lived in NYS and toured many facilities. There, we put her in the best facility available, and still, Gull Arbor is far above. Nowhere else did we find 6:1, sometimes 6:2 care. In most facilities, 20:1 (Patients to direct care staff) is the norm. Shanell and Sean Hughes care deeply, won't tolerate anything but professional and loving care from their employees, and monitor that care closely. Home cooked meals, healthy meal plans, and lots of one on one attention. Our mother has been at Gull Arbor for over a year now, and we are grateful every day for the family atmosphere and loving care she receives at Gull Arbor.
