Gundlach's replaced my 20 year old split system and did a fantastic job! But the service did not stop there. They put extra vents in my eaves, sealed recessed lights and added to my attic insulation. They put a second return in my master bedroom that fixed a temperature balance problem that I have had since my house was built 20 years ago. Thanks to Ken, Craig and the crew for the great job.
Used them twice now and have had them help us out in emergency situations! They officially have me for life. I had originally called Monarch Home Service and they tried to tell me my system was broken and I needed a new motor and tried to charge me 800 to fix it. (Mind you the system had been working perfectly before their \maintenance\ and stopped working right when their tech left). I called Gundlach for a second opinion, their wonderful tech came out and checked everything and turns out the previous Monarch tech had unplugged my system in the attic so that's why we had spent the last two days in utter dispare with no AC in this Bakersfield heat. Gundlach saved the day once again! Highly recommend, have only had pleasant, quick, and easy interactions with them.
The tech that came out to check our ac unit was very professional and very courteous. He explained everything very well and was honest and didn't try to pressure us with any up sales. Love this place.
Still in awe! My air conditioner broke in 105 degree weather, called another top service whose soonest appointment was in 5 days. Called Gundlach after reading good recommendations from homeowners on Nextdoor and they came the same day. Only charged 50 diagnostic fee and AC was fixed and working in around 30 minutes! 50 total bill! They could have told me anything like I needed a new unit or could have dragged it out saying it need massive service or cleaning and I would have paid! Honesty and integrity at is peak here! I will always use Gundlach from now on! They have a monthly service plan too that cleans and checks units and replaces filters. Highest recommendation for this professional and trustworthy company! It’s no wonder they have been in business so long and receive high marks!
