My first bad review goes to Gurley Leep Hyundai on Grape Road. Worst car buying experience I have ever had. Extremely rude salesmen that are far from eager to sell you a vehicle. I am truly disgusted by the awful customer service that is provided at this dealership. I would highly recommend that you save your time and energy and take your money elsewhere to purchase a vehicle.

I recently purchased my second Subaru Outback from Gurley Leep Subaru in Mishawaka, IN. The experience I had this time far exceeded the first experience both in sales and financing. Not only was Tony (sales) amazing to work with in terms of knowledge but he made the process fun instead of stressful. Victor (financing) was the same way, knowledgeable but fun to be around. This car buying experience was tip top and people should be taking advice from you on how it should be done. Great job Gurley Leep team!

The Hyundai service department and body shop is the worst. They don’t communicate and trying to get a call back from them is like pulling teeth. Maybe they would give better service if I bought my Hyundai from them instead of a dealer of of state. That said, because of the certified pre-owned warranty on my Hyundai, Gurley Leep is the only service center in a 20 mile radius of me. I love Hyundai, but I’m ready to get rid of this car and move to a different brand solely from dealing with this service center. Update: In the short time since I’ve written this review I will admit that the communication has gotten significantly better and I am more at ease dealing with the service department. Cindy has done a good job keeping me updated on the status of my car and timeframe for inspection/repairs this go around.

I love the car and so does my wife. I was actually looking for something to replace my last Honda Element and really wasn't thinking about a Forester but, after looking at them and then after driving one, I was hooked. Also, the salesman we dealt with was WONDERFUL best car buying experience we've ever had. Ask for \Joe Uthe\ if you go there, you'll love the guy. FINAL ADDENDUM: Here's what happened. The car we chose turned out to be a problem vehicle and was in the service center for more than two weeks. We were planning to use it on a vacation but it didn't look like it would get repaired in time. We just found out that Gurley Leep talked to Subaru and they agreed that the car should be replaced and returned to the factory. So Gurley Leep found another car for us with the same features and is getting in for us. They said they didn't want us to have any doubts about our car and wanted us to know what a great car the Forester is. Plus they threw in a little additional item to make it up to us. When was the last time you heard of a dealership doing something like that for a customer? I didn't think things would turn out that good and I'm glad they proved me wrong. We've purchased a lot of cars from them and it's nice to know we can count on them. Addendum: We loved my 2018 Forester so much that we went back and got an Outback for my wife to drive. Another wonderful vehicle and great purchasing experience. We are now a 2 car Subaru family like so many others we've met and heard about. Thanks again Joe!

Yvonne at the Gurley Leep Hyundai Subaru location made our car buying experience a dream! She had the vehicle we wanted to see ready when we got there and made sure we were comfortable during the process. The finance department was excellent to work with, worked to get us the best rates and he explained all of our options but was never pushy for the “extras”. 10/10 will return for all our family’s car needs!
