Dormant account fees stole 20 from my account. Not only is this bank unethical, their customer service is awful. You’d be better off flushing your money down the toilet than banking with these fraudsters.

Had to pick up a cashiers check last minute. Employee's were ready to help me as soon as they opened and the fee was much cheaper than I expected it for a check that size. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience!

I recently opened up an account with ALEC and have been very impressed with the quality of service provided. I have multiple accounts with them and the process has been smooth on every occasion. The people that work at ALEC are some of the friendly and helpful people I have met in the banking space. They always go above and beyond to help you and resolve issues. I would highly recommend ALEC for your banking and loan needs as they offer competitive interest rates backed by friendly Customer Service. Thanks ALEC!

Banks charge fees to earn money and consumers try to avoid fees to save money. It’s a battle many consumers lose, and the fees add up to a tidy profit for a bank. I have been a member since 1994...charge me a fee oops courtesy pay of 3x the transaction amount. I guess someone has to pay for the new building and much needed customer service training.

I have had an account here since my mother opened it over 35 years ago. It is a great credit union, staff is friendly. But one thing that I have found unreasonable is if I have a check with my name and my boyfriend's (who is not on my account), that they will not touch the check, even with both of us there and proper ID. Every other bank and credit union allows it. We have checked. If that hasn't happened multiple times then I would be giving a higher rating.
