Great school! Often skill/technique and a great personality hardly coexist together in the same person. In Matt Cole they do. Usually, one is either highly skilled at something (we all know these people) and their personality stinks or they have a great personality but are mediocre at best skill wise. Only one of those attributes can be improved upon through training. On the other hand, you can’t teach “personality”. You either have a good personality or you don’t!

After many years of inactivity, I decided to get back into flying. After looking around the area, Blue Skies seemed to offer what I was looking for, so I booked an introductory flight to refresh what I had learned so many years ago, and to see if I really wanted to continue. I met Matt Cole, owner and instructor, and was immediately put at ease by his relaxed demeanor. The aircraft he offers appear well maintained by a local IA, and are in good, clean condition. If you're considering flight training, I highly recommend considering Blue Skies. The 100 introductory flight is money well spent!
Matt cole is absolutely the best instructor I have 500 hrs now, working on instrument rating 250 in a cirrus. And I owe it all to Matt. He is the best.
I would definitely recommend Blue Skies to anyone in the greater OKC area looking for flight training. All of the instructors there are really laid back and make the learning experience enjoyable. Their planes are also very well maintained. Matt and Ron got me to my checkride in 45 hours.
Matt Cole is an awesome instructor! He was patient with me and helped me get to my checkride and pass with flying colors. I would recommend Matt and Blue Skies Flight School to anyone. My wife is starting next. :)
