As a child psychologist, parents often ask me for school recommendations. I've been recommending the GW Community School for years, and with great results and success. Their curriculum (and approach to teaching) is student centered and innovative. Gifted, caring teachers a positive educational society. GWCS is a high school that epitomises the concept that children are educated they way they need to learn, and not fitted into a preset mould. A small private school that prepares adolescents not just for college, but for life, as members of a society that cares. I wish there were more teacher/ directors who had the insight of Mr. Goldie and Ms. Warden, the founders and namesakes of GWCSl.
