Troubadour the Hiking Songstress

I just visited this office for the first time today, but it was for my not yet 12-year-old daughter, who is having some issues with early and very heavy/long periods. We were seen by the Nurse Practitioner named Harris, and she was just as kind and caring as she could be. So glad my daughter’s first experience in a gynecologist’s office was this one! Harris took the time out to really listen to my daughter, and think about what was going on, what needed to be done and what was probably an unnecessary discomfort for my kid. This all meant so much to me. She explained everything in a way that my daughter understood. And just generally had a wonderful bedside manner, especially with a child when I know children are not who they’re most familiar with seeing and speaking to in there. Also, the girl at the front desk when we arrived was nice and expeditious, and we didn’t have to wait long at all to be seen. The same was the case with the woman who took my co-pay afterward. No one there was anything but personable... I’m thinking of switching gynecologists myself now.

I've only been to a gynecologist once before my visit to this office. My first experience at a different location was terrible so I wasn't sure what to expect this time here. However, everything about my appointment today at this office was the complete opposite and everything went so great. The office is inviting and even the receptionist was super friendly. I was called to the back on time, the nurse was personable and seemed just as concerned for why I was there as a doctor would. I saw Dr. Leao, and even though I was only there for a minor concern, she was still just as compassionate and concerned with me as if it was something serious. I felt very comfortable here and she did not belittle me and my situation or blow me off whatsoever. I think I may have found my place to go!

This was my first visit to Dr. Linda Long and it was BY FAR the best experience I have ever had at a Gyn appointment. She was very patient and attentive while listening to all my concerns. After asking me some great questions and hearing my responses, she helped me decide the best path for me and what my treatment would be. She was very reassuring and explained everything thoroughly. I was not used to this type of compassionate, thorough, and friendly care. I look forward to seeing Dr. Long for years to come!

So obviously going for routine checkups is not my favorite thing to do but I would always put it off until it was absolutely necessary. My mom recommended Dr. Long and she was amazing! But when I needed an appointment ASAP and Dr. Bush had a cancellation, I took it. I honestly can’t say that one doctor is better than the other, but I can say that they both are truly amazing doctors in different ways. I love this group so much. I would recommend them to every woman I know, especially those that put these types of visits off as long as possible. Just a really amazing group and I’m so thankful I have them.

Referred by my sister. Admin staff is kind and efficient. I have seen several of the providers and they are wonderful! They explained my issue thoroughly to me in terms that I can understand. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a kind and quality patient care driven provider.
