As an older woman that doesn't fit into the 'athletic' mold, even entering a store like Valley Bike and Ski Werks can feel intimidating. This year because of COVID I wanted to get my kids outside by going skiing and that may be a little crazy for a 46 year old heavy set woman whose never skied before. The staff was beyond helpful. Full disclosure...you have to provide your weight to be fitted with skis and this can be embarrassing and intimidating. At Valley Bike and Ski It was not! The sales clerk (I wish I remembered his name) was so helpful explaining everything I would need to keep up with my two boys. I was fitted and out the door in no time. I'm still trying to keep up with my 8 year old who has surpassed my ski abilities. I can still keep up with my 5 year old but not for long! Thanks for the positive experience.

The staff at Valley Bike and Ski Werks is passionate, knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful as an avid cyclist after the purchase of my bike which was an excellent deal, I have bought great outfits & accessories I love there clothing selection. They do thorough repairs and have always been friendly. I highly recommend them for anyone who is looking at getting into the hobby & love looking great on the open road!

Love this place and the people working there. They are fun and friendly, and they know their stuff. They'll tell it to you straight. They helped a plebeian such as myself get into cycling and mountain biking without trying to just sell me stuff. They have your best interest in mind and want you to have a good time. I purchased a mountain bike from this great shop. Charlie, the salesman was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to set me up with the different accessories I needed. And, most importantly, I felt comfortable with the pricing provided. I will definitely be doing business with this shop going forward. Awesome laid back atmosphere.
