I've owned a '69 B-55 for 8 years. I've finally found a shop where I have complete confidence that my aircraft will be safely maintained. The service provided by Royal was consistently beyond my expectations and never were there any surprise charges or unauthorized repairs. I recommend Royal to all of my friends, whether they are looking for a shop or not. If you own an aircraft, something is going to happen that your small field mechanic won't be able to fix. Royal can.

I've owned my plane for 4 years and used 2 prior shops with varying success. In the last year Royal has handled a major spar repair; installed a flap STC and have cheerfully and immediately accomodated two unscheduled visits to resolve issues that would have otherwise grounded the aircraft. Their prices are quite reasonable and their work superior. Royal will handle my annual next month and my plane for the foreseeable future.
Fixed my plane but padded the bill with 2.5 hrs extra and bogus charges. Also on another occasion charged full price for used parts. I say 2 strikes and you're out here. I guess if you have no other option.
