I was so happy to find the Kings Gardens Maui. Having been to the Amazon I can say that this is Maui’s Taste of The Amazon. And there you get to enjoy an Amazon experience but with out the all dangerous animals that reside in the amazon. It was great to be able to walk around and enjoy this magical Jungle location and feel safe while taking in all the beauty, history and powerful sacred vibrations.

"This location is incredible! We agree with the other five star reviews, this place is magic. This is very important, we were so happy that the waterfall view was a very safe distance away, we know of a gal who lost her husband in a flash flood due to going to a waterfall while in Maui! People don’t know that flash floods occur all the time with no warning! These folk really care and are saving lives, and you get two see the waterfall from two different view sites that are a very safe distance away! Our guide was awesome knew everything about the gardens from the local plants to the diverse history and culture. This guy loved the place with its rich culture and loved sharing that information with us. The cacao was enchanting and delicious and the experience was well worth the price. Our family felt blessed to have had the opportunity to help this good charity. "

The Best Way To See A Waterfall, If You Don’t Want to do The Very Long Drive To Hana! Just like 99% of all the other reviews say-this is a must do tour. We only had 1 day in Maui and are so glad we choose to do this tour. The gardens was amazing, the guide and his story about why he loves the gardens is inspiring. He had so much knowledge to share and brought the magic of this beautiful location alive. Loved the fact that it was a donation to help them to not only maintain this historical treasure, but restore and put it into conservation.

Had a great, fun time on this hike with Kana, who knows stuff about stuff! Chocolate tasting was fun (and yummy!) and informative too! Didn’t need long sleeves or pants, but def get bug spray and bring a cheap poncho or rain jacket just in case. Shoes with good traction too but close-toed not necessary. From Hana Hwy, left where they tell you to turn, then first left onto dirt driveway without signage.

This is an absolute hidden gem along the famous road to Hana. Our guide was deeply knowledgeable about, not just the surrounding vegetation , but also the history of how native Hawaiians lived on the land. Our group size was small so we were able to ask a lot of questions. This is more than a sight-seeing expedition. It is an immersive experience with riveting story-telling and casual nature-walking. The chocolate tasting was certainly a highlight. Thank you Kings Gardens for perpetuating the Hawaiian culture and preserving a heritage site.

King’s Gardens guided tour was an excellent amazing experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. I learned so much about Hawaii and Hawaiian culture! The gardens were mind blowing and the chocolate was exquisite. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who loves the outdoors, waterfalls, Hawaii and chocolate.

We highly recommend it! “My adult son and I had only one day left available, we decided to spend it at Kings Gardens Maui since we were spending multiple days on Oahu and the Big Island. And boy were we are so very happy that we were able to take the tour. We got to see so much of all the various historical sights and loved the Chocolate portion. A super fun and memorable time.

Excellent Tour! Our time at the gardens was great, the guide was excellent! He shared with us all of captivating historical sites of the gardens and provided so much information and his deep fondness for this sacred historical heritage site We enjoyed learning about and seeing the ancient artifacts of the last great Kings of Hawaii personal gardens. On a whole the gardens and their guides provided an excellent experience for us, one that will last a lifetime.
