Hamilton Mill Animal Hospital has always gone above and beyond when it comes to the care of our pets. We once rescued a Sleeve Pekinese from the Gwinnett County Shelter who was 24 hours from being put down. Hope was in such poor shape that you had to belong to a rescue organization to save her. Fortunately my wife has been in Peke rescue since 1988 so we were able to spare her from a sad ending. HMAH was willing to give her an out-coming party which included a bath, haircut and much needed medications for her skin. The people at the pound wouldn't even touch her she was in such poor condition. Today, she is happy and lively and living with her bother Coco. They are well cared for at HMAH and we appreciate all they have done to keep them healthy and happy.
