Perfection! Recently relocated quality restaurant. A bit of an odd/off the path location but it's quaint. Local farm fresh food, baked goods done in premises as well as their pastas. Knowledgeable servers with great recommendations. BYO which is great and if you forgot yours, there's a liquor store attached. Perfect date night out restaurant. Leave room for dessert!

Excellent menu selection... wanted to try everything. We had flatbread of the day (Vermont cheddar, bacon & broccoli), Grilled octopus with flavored potatoes and Fried green tomatoes with crabmeat. And that was just the appetizers!!!. A bit noisy when all tables are occupied, but everyone was enjoying themselves. Will definitely bring friends.

Food was average. We ordered Hanger Steak, Green Bean Casserole, Tater Tots. The Tater Tots was hard and burnt and not edible. I didn't realize the dishes are extremely small portions sizes for the money you pay. We left hungry. Also, there where only three tables used and the noise level was pretty bad where I ended up with a headache. They need to put more acoustic paneling in there.

Average food but what really got me was the size/price of the martini's. I ordered a Grey Goose martini up and it was 15. The price did not offend me, it was the size. It was not the 5oz they claimed, it was at best a 2.5/3oz serving. Completely absurd. Never have I ever been served a martini that small. Clearly this restaurant is making their money overcharging for cocktails.

I highly recommend the flatbread made with Beemster Gouda, shredded beef, marinated tomatoes, and Salsa Verde! The Cranberry Beer was a great beverage! The homemade cannoli with the owner's grandmother's recipe is outstanding! I travel from Maryland to enjoy a meal at this restaurant!

We've gone to Coltella's many times when they were in Crosswicks. The food and service were exceptional. We never had anything but a great experience. Since they moved, we've gone there twice. The first time was for a family birthday. The food was very mediocre. Service was OK. Normally, that would have been enough for us to cross them off our list. Because of the great experiences we've had in the past, we decided to give them another try. Well, it was worse than our prior visit. The food was not very good and the service was terrible. To top things off, Coltella's was always a BYOB; consequently, we brought a bottle of wine with us. The waiter opened and poured it as usual. When we received our bill, there was a 20 charge for them to open the bottle of wine. Apparently, they now have a liquor license and charged us because we didn't buy the wine there. Had we have known that they served wine, we would purchased it from them. Since they never mentioned that they were no longer a BYOB, we questioned our waiter about the 20 charge. They refused to remove it. We could have just paid the bill without leaving a tip but we didn't. Anyway, we will never go to Coltella's again. We used to rave about this place to our friends. No more. One final comment, we went there this past Saturday night around 6:30 PM. I had called to get a reservation because, when they were at the Crosswicks location, you often had to wait days to get one. They were always booked up. That is no longer the case. While we were there, there was never more than 3 tables occupied. The word must be getting around.
