I went to George Fett's office and just wanted to discuss options of an addition we were building; he stated it was a free consultation and that there would be absolutely no charge. I am a CAD professional and somewhat of an architect (working for Michael Graves and Tony Nellesen at the time) myself and did not like a lot of what he was saying nor did my employers. So I told him thank you anyway and that I was going to use an alternative architect. A couple years later when I went sell my home he had put a lean on it from a fake invoice he stated that I owed. After looking into this, turns out he does this all the time! STAY CLEAR OF THESES GUYS THIS IS NOT WHO YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH! I paid the 1200.00 because it was easier than to do the whole court thing. But use a different architect, you will be glad you did.
