Went to get my watch fixed as the crown had been damaged. He took a really long time to do anything and never contacted us. When we went to ask how it was going, he told us that he was unable to get the part and we needed to send it to the company itself. We noticed that the watch was missing a piece in order to lock the strap in place and he told us that it didn't matter. We insisted as we had paid 50 dollars for his services and it was unacceptable that he would return the watch with nothing done and a missing piece. He got mad when we told him it needed the piece and started cursing at us, throwing the f bomb, and told us to leave. Never going back to this place again and I would never recommend it to anyone.

I came to figure out why my watch isn’t working he told me it was the battery and he tried to charge me 40 to change the battery. He changed the battery and if still didn’t work then he looked at it again & said something else needs to be changed and the piece costed 30 but he’s charging me 130 to change it, so when I changed my mind about fixing my watch and nicely told him never mind he started yelling and freaking out on me and cursing. Terrible customer service in my entire life.

I feel so confident having my watches repaired here, that I wait until I visit from South America rather than go to a watch maker there. I first found this shop on a visit to Hampton Bays 4 years ago. When I came back, I brought my wifes watch that I was told was not worth repairing and the owner fixed it and water-proofed it for a song. I also brought a lighter in for repair that my father bought before he went to fight in WW2 and the owner fixed it for free. I highly recommend this location for quality service from an intelligent watchmaker.

I asked him how much it would cost for him to fix my watch he took it fixed a little part that took him less then 5 minutes and then continued to charge me 20 when I was only asking for the price. When I told him I was only asking for the price he got mad and told me to leave and take the watch.

Stay away from this place. Went in to replace two watch batteries. He tried to charge 30. When I complained about the high price he went ballistic, yelling at me, calling me cheap, cursing with the f bomb, and threatening me. He wouldn't take my credit card, popped the batteries out and threw the watches at me. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone in my life. When he tries to compare himself to jewelry stores in Southampton he's not even close. This guy is a psychopath! I don't know how or why he's in business. Obviously he has no customer appreciation.

Needed a new battery for my watch. Alex, who was there, said no problem and changed it. He then told me it was 15.00! I told him that batteries only cost 1.00 or less. He said that he’s in the business to make money. Lousy attitude. Never again will I walk into his shop, and I advise anyone reading this to do the same!

Replaced watch battery, died in a month. Replaced it again, left the cover loose. Repaired my clock, only took a year. The repair looked terrible, and he filed the minute hand down?! You could not even tell the difference between the minute and the hour hand. When I asked him why he would have done it, he said he couldn't remember. I told him I wanted it replaced. A month later I went back and he hadn't touched it. I took it back and just donated it. Horrible service. I found a guy up island who is a rock star, he handles it all my clocks and referrals
