I’m not commenting on the people who work at the revenue. They lady I spoke to was nice. My complaint is that we moved here a year and a half ago and I switched my vehicle over to Virginia from Oklahoma and I just received a property tax bill which is insane. I paid taxes when I bought this 8!years ago. But what bothered me is that I did not know about this bill I would get. The DMV did not fill me in on that. And they have my vehicle assessed at twice the amount of what it is worth. And apparently you have to apply for high mileage discount by May of the year of the taxes in order to get it assessed properly. So I still have to pay more than I should because no one told me about this and the DMV did not put my correct information in. There should be an exception for cases like mine.
