Took 8 months to get my block and head machined. Price was more than quoted with no extra work. Flipped out on me for no reason on the phone because I made on off the coff comment about paying for a shipping box that he lost. Super nice for the whole 8 months then flipped the script when it was time to pay and told me to send a certified check in the mail to get my parts. After explaining I meant no offense, he said he calmed down and I could pay with Paypal. Got my head back and all the intake and exhaust ports where full of sand and it wasnt sandblasted. Box it was shipped in had sand. It was assembled too which was part of the cost so I had to disassemble it again. Would not recommend.

Terrible experience. They took very long to start work on my block and when they did finally machine my block, they didn't do what I wanted. I asked for a refund because I was tired of waiting and wanted to take my parts elsewhere. When they finally gave me a refund, it was only a partial refund. They said they charged me 2 hours labor for talking to me and doing machine work on the block, even though it wasn't what I wanted. He also told me that if someone pays more or has a bigger project, they will have a higher priority.

I brought an LS block here to be machined and was promised a 2 week turn around time. There were some delays with parts not arriving and needing to be dropped off afterwards that were not discussed upfront and it lead to about a 4 week timeframe. I needed to drop off some head and main studs to that the block could be correctly bored and the line hone checked and when i received these parts back there were some items missing from the pacakges. JAM was unwilling to purchase the parts they they lost and would not admit that it was their fault. The block and head surfaces were also sub-par and they had no profilometer to even check them. I have worked with many machine shops over the years and would recommend you stay away from this one.
