Have been bringing our pets here for years and have always been pleased, until recently. The last two times we brought our dog for a bath, we dropped her off in the morning, generally around 9am, expecting to pick her up in an hour or so. Both times we didn't pick her up until afternoon (once not until 2:30pm), never received a call about any delays or issues, I had to call to get an update. Today was the last straw. Booked an appointment through their app and got confirmation text that she could be seen at 9am. I confirmed the appointment via text. Pulled into their parking lot and called at 9:01am, the girl on the phone said she couldn't find the appointment and put me on hold. After a couple minutes, came back on and asked again what we were here for. She then asked what kind of car we were in and said someone would be out shortly. My dog hates the car and physically shakes from the moment we get in the car, until we get out. at 9:30, I called again, as no one had come out or called. Was offered a sincere apology and told that they'd make sure someone came out to get my dog. At 9:45, I couldn't bear seeing my dog tremble anymore, so we left. Wholly unacceptable service.

For veterinary care, Hanover Park Animal Care Center is #1. No better clinic in the area. The techs and vets all do such a great job everytime with all three of our dogs. They also have an amazing plan for any age pet to help make veterinary costs more affordable. Thank you for being here for us.

Veterinarians are exceptional and vet techs are super kind! Dog plan is also flexible! However please do your best to NOT use their grooming service. They take advantage of the situation. I took my Golden Doodle for his first grooming session with Hanover Park and we feel absolutely embarrassed for showing off our dog now right before the holidays. We were told it was fixable and JOJO was our groomer. Unfortunately she had no remorse and could care less about our opinion of the groom. She refused to fix the problem and really didn’t want to help us anymore. I understand it’s not as easy as it seems but she really didn’t give us at all of the picture we showed her. I’m even embarrassed to even post a picture of my cute 1 year old puppy. It’s disappointing for a 100 haircut. Thank you!

The staff here is extremely friendly and clearly really care about the animals they see. They currently have my puppy Apollo hospitalized and have been going above and beyond to provide him the care he needs and keep me updated. I can't even express how much I appreciate what they are doing. Thank you for fighting for Apollo's life!!
