Overall, I find that Pier 1 has many great furnishings & tableware for the home. You can feel confident that you're not likely to find Pier 1 items at Homegoods etc. However, I do find Pier 1 to be pricey. I normally wait for a sale or clearance to buy stuff from Pier 1. I was surprised the stores that were closing didn't have better discounts & markdowns. I think the staff at Pier 1 (across different locations) is a hit or miss. For example, I had two Angela leopard print chairs on hold at Per 1, Hanover. When I arrived to the store and told the sales associate (older woman) my name & the dining chair that I put on hold. The first response I got from her was, "Do you know how much these chairs cost, they're not cheap." I couldn't help but wonder if she thought I couldn't afford the chairs because I was Black. She proceeded to look for the dining chairs, came back & told me that she couldn't find them & if I was sure I put the chairs on hold in the Hanover store. I watched her go by the dining chair three times before she came over to me. Anyway, I pointed out the chair & I found a different sales associate to complete the transaction. This is my life under "Trumpism."

Love this pier 1. The people who work there are so nice. They ask if you need help but also leave you alone to explore if you choose. Wilk look for anything fou you and do tell you sale things.

Clean, Great item selection, even tho it seems smaller then Braintree...which by the way is closing it's doors soon!!! Oh no...
Store closing soon, little expensive even after sale
I was not reallt looking for anything, but the staff at this location treated me like i was spending thousands of dollars. They greeted me at the door, ask if i need help. Chatted and when i was leaving, they were just as warm and welcoming as when I arrived. That is the way you do business. I will return to purchase soon .
