You wrote a review for Northwest Primary Care - Talbert Clinic\t19 hours ago 5.0 star rating 12/31/2020 Dr. Moses Gallegos has been my primary care physician for more than 20 years and has always successfully resolved any health issue I have come to him with. So when my wife came from China, needed a new doctor in our area I naturally chose him as her primary care. Today we met with Dr. Gallegos about pain issues my wife is having. Dr. Gallegos was extremely attentive, very personable, caring and spent considerable time asking very appropriate questions. In the end he not only prescribed medication, but called it into our pharmacy on record. He then took time to recommend we take further steps with medical Imaging specialists for an overdue mammogram, set up a Pap smear and follow up with a stomach specialist if the treatment he had suggested did not work within 30 days. On the way home her comment was how gentle Doctor Gallegos had been compared to doctors in China, and how fortunate Americans are to have the medical care we have. In addition I would like to give a SHOUT OUT to every NWPC person we came in contact with. Scheduling, Check in and our Nurse were all very welcoming, caring and personable. Thank You All for providing the care my wife required.

I went to get lab work done for a rash that I had. They never sent the lab work out in the appropriate amount of time and the swab they took was no longer good. I kept calling about the results and I was told it was in process as weeks went by. Finally someone broke the news to me that it was never processed. I was so upset because by then the rash went away and there was no longer anything to swab. I spoke with the office manger and was very defensive and rude. I asked they not charge my insurance since it was their fault they never processed the lab. The office manger assured me that it would not get processed. She also said the doctor would call me to talk about possible next steps. Went went by no doctor ever called and then I got a bill in the mail from my insurance for the lab. They do not care about their patients all they care about is making money.

Dr. Murphy at NWPC reached out to me over Zoom video conference to help me and I was so thankful as I was in too much pain from a PMR flare up to go into her office. She answered all my questions with great concern, called in a prescription for me and made sure she had answered all my questions. I am so very happy I chose Dr. Murphy at NWPC to be my primary Dr. I highly recommend NWPC and Dr. Murphy.

I had Dr Sharlene Murphy as my Dr for roughly 10 months. She is very kind and did a great job listening to me about my health concerns. I left my previous Dr after 15 years because it felt impossible to get in to see her 2-3 months out). I came to Sharlene for thyroid help, anxiety and depression. Rewind to last weekend- 4 days ago... I ended up in the ER with some issues that needed attention. Called Dr Murphy’s office and tried to schedule a visit but nothing was available for almost 3 weeks. Remind you her office cancelled a previous appointment the week prior with only a 12 hour notice. I used my last pto day at work on that appt which was made about 1 month prior. I’ve never been cancelled on by a Dr with the excuse of “needing to catch up in the office.” I’m sad and Disappointed. I hate starting over. I have since scheduled with a new doctor that was able to tend to my urgent need. Hopefully this works out.
