Cushy, resort like facilities with all the frills aren't going to get you sober. Direct, honest, down to earth common sense rehabilitation implementing 12 step program along with a tincture of time will work. I went in to Alina, a multi-addictive 25 year old recovering from a heart attack due to an overdose. Against all odds, 40 years later one day at a time, I am still clean and sober. Results speak for themselves !

Saved my life. Still in touch with the staff and others I met in recovery 37 years later. No doubt the greatest change that has ever occurred in my life. Highly recommend.

25 years ago I entered the Lodge for the long haul. I was a student for 22 months. It was precisely what I needed to learn a better way to live. It gave me the time I needed to put down the drink and drugs long enough to have some semblance of clarity in my life. It provided me the time, education, and guidance I needed to sort out my issues and become a sober member of society and AA and to learn to live life on life’s terms. I am forever grateful to the Lodge, Mrs D., and the staff for their patience dealing with me just long enough to let “hope become fact.”

The Lodge continues to support alumni and friends through Zoom meetings during the pandemic. While I am grateful to all the meetings, the lodge meetings provide an intimacy and depth unrivaled in my 35 years of sobriety. The Lodge started us down the road to a life that works under any conditions. What a gift!

I spent 11 months at the Lodge and am grateful for it every day. It wasn’t easy, it wasn’t fun but it worked. If i ever had to send someone I love to rehab this would be the place. My gratitude for the Lodge is bottomless - Everything I have in my life today is either a direct or indirect result of the ‘tincture of time’ approach to recovery espoused by the place. I attended 18 years ago and have thought of it every day since.
