Unfriendly staff and service. Went to purchase a hedgehog and it died died less 18 hours after owning it. We had proper husbandry, food, water, and heating conditions and left it alone after bringing it home to allow it to acclimate and reduce stress on the poor creature. The employee told us we \probably did something to it\ and insinuated that it was our fault it died and could not even provide us with any store credit, refund, or a new hedgehog. I was trying to support a local business but even large pet chains, as unethical as they are, have better customer service and better policies in place for these events. They clearly don't care about their animals as is evident by their poor in-store husbandry and prioritize monetary gain over everything. I'm disappointed that a local business could be so nasty to it's customers especially in these turbulent times. I've been a customer for years and will not be returning and will be sharing my experience with other Harlingen & RGV residents. The issue is not that we could not get a new hedgehog. The issue is that an employee stated that we \did something to it.\ Clearly you are missing the entire point. That is what caused the upset.

Hands down, best shop For you beginner and advanced salt water aquarium lovers (also general pet sup needs). Thanks Jesse and Juan, They are very knowledgeable, friendly and take the time to answer all your questions. you can find everything you need for your saltwater aquarium, meds, pro-equipment, and the best for last the coolest coral farm in Harlingen. Thanks.

This store was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. That wasn't the surprise. The surprise was that the store was as clean as everyone said it was. How dog you make a store full of animals smell clean? Not in a chemical way but, just clean. The place was spotless. My hats off to them. The animals I saw were healthy and very well cared for in nice habitats. Very impressed.

Very disappointed in this store. They have a lot of beautiful animals, but the husbandry is terrible. I try to be understanding because I know how much work it is to take care of a lot of animals, but the conditions these animals are living in is completely unacceptable. Even if i was interested in a animal they had, I couldn't see myself supporting a business like this. To be completely fair. The fresh and salt water aquariums seemed well taken care off, but not appropriately sized for certain species.

Employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a good variety of fish, reptiles and birds. This is our new favorite person store!
