We are lucky to have this little Philippine store in Harlingen. There is always a nice selection of quick, delicious meals. The usual pansit and lumpia (spring rolls) are available, but try the tilapia in coconut milk or the fried bananas when it is available. Newcomers to Philippine cooking might be put off by the skin and fat in the pork, but the friendly owners will gladly give you leaner pieces. There is also small grocery store with a growing variety of Philippine snacks and drinks and even some fresh vegetables. Pacific Island is definitely worth a try if you find yourself in Harlingen or are on your way to SPI.

it's one of the smaller oriental markets I've been in very clean and the staff was very very pleasant. Monday through Friday they do a lunch that is very well received by the community and well worth the money try it you won't be disappointed
