Always beautiful trees, great people, friendly and happy. This tree farm has been a tradition for our family and we would have it no other way!

My family and I went there with the intent of getting an 11ft tree however they had nothing taller than 9ft in the field. Still wanting to support Grupp’s farm we decided to look into the pre cut trees instead of going to a different farm. After which, we could still not find many 11ft trees that interested us (there were only maybe 7). After exhausting all other options we went for the pre cut trees across from the barn. Once we brought back the tree we found there we were met with an older man (who I can only assume would be Mr. Grupp because an employee with that attitude would surely had been fired by now.) he immediately started yelling at us for going into the wrong section, however there were no signs saying not to take those trees. I found the aggressive and belittling demeanor of Mr Grupp. to be appalling. We will not be going there again.

The farm is very nice, but I felt as if the prices were high for the services provided. The gentleman who greeted us in the beginning to tell us how everything worked was very cordial and hospitable, leaving a good first impression. If you are going, make sure that you bring your own saw. The size they provide are not very good. It took my partner 45 minutes to cut the tree down. In the meantime, my kids were freezing and we were looking forward to coming back to the farmhouse for some hot chocolate. However, despite paying 80 for a tree we cut down our self that was less than 10 feet, there was no heat in the farmhouse. The real hard workers are the young kids that package the trees up and put them on roofs. However, after doing some inquiring, I learned they make just above minimum-wage. And, that is even after you have worked there for several seasons. I really hate when businesses put the onus on customers to pay their employees by putting out tip jars -- We just cut a tree down ourselves and hauled it and paid 80, and we have to tip now? Business owners should pay their employees a fair wage. This is why I will not be going back.

They yelled at me for picking a tree from the wrong pile. Very rude! I’ll never go back.

Great place to buy a tree.
