My boyfriend planned a birthday trip for me last year to Fredericksburg and I really wanted to go horseback riding. I found this place on Yelp so we decided to check it out and I am so glad we did! Everyone here was amazing, including the horses! I grew up around horses and love being around them and they let me hang out as long as I wanted and spend time with the horses. I have been on many group trail rides but this was hands down my favorite experience. They even have cabins you can stay at on the ranch! Next time this is definitely where we will be staying! We cannot wait to go back! :)

I have not been on a horse in 30 years and had some fear about it. Well Patrick takes the time to teach you how to ride, feel safe and be in control of the horse. The horses are so well trained and the trails are beautiful. His staff was helpful and caring. It was a fantastic experience and I would come back again. This is top of the line horseback riding!!!!
My wife and I went to Tres Molinos to celebrate our anniversary. We primarily went for the horseback riding but enjoyed much more. We did an evening ride and a morning ride both with Trenton. These were two of the best rides we have ever done. Trenton was very knowledgeable and friendly. The rides were close to three hours in length and I'm sure we could have done more. The horses were magnificent - not the typical \follow the leader\ trail ride horses. Finishing the rides in the arena area allowed us to test our skills at our own pace / ability level. In addition to the rides, we caught catfish in the pond and used the firing range for target practice and scope setting - a very nice setup. We stayed in the Urban Cowboy unit which is really nice. Huge kitchen, TV's in living area and bedroom, and nice large bathroom / shower. The back porch has a view you just can't get in many places. We will be back.
Tres caminos is a great place to bring your family and friends. Elizabeth was amazing, she helped my 6 year old to gain confidence while riding and she was super patient. My 10 year old had a broken arm so she wasn’t able to ride the horse and they were very nice to her, she was able to pet the baby goat and brush the horses. We are looking forward to come back next year !
Outdoors where they treat you like family. Live music great food and amazing hill country scenery. Tres Molinos features cabin a zip line and stock pond so if you just want to relax on the huge coverd patio or stargaze and much much more Tres Molinos is like coming home
