Family outing on a beautiful day. The river wasn’t open yet due to COVID restrictions, but Lake St Clair Metro park location back into the Black Creek Marsh is open for rentals! Go support this small business finding their way in this challenging working climate. We love how easy it is to pop in, get all equipment and just go paddle. No loading yaks and boards on cars, finding parking and lugging stuff around. Thanks for all of your patience answering all of our questions staff! We had a blast and will be back again.

There were some hard working, kind ladies down by the north boat launch at Metro beach. New processes for social distancing and sanitizing were noticeable. It was beautiful non choppy water tucked in back there just around the bend from the Lake St Clair beach front. We saw all kinds of wild life. Sunset was killer too. Thanks for a relaxing day on the water Simple Adventures!
Simple Adventures is Southeast Michigan’s hidden treasure. They have several locations so you can try different routes. They also offer team building and group events which are incredible experiences for groups. Oh and the sunset and moonlight paddles are my absolute favorites. I took a lesson with them a few years back and have been going ever since!
We LOVE the water and these guys rocked it. We took our teams out for a group team building event and what an amazing experience. These kids are going to remember this for life. Thanks to Simple Adventures staff, we will be back and will be referring others.
