I had been going here for 20 years. I love this community and for the first time, I had the worst experience ever. I called earlier to ask to come as a walk in. I had an awful terrible pain more than a 10 in the pain chart. The pain was horrible and I had a medical concern, since I am a perfect healthy 42 year old female. I came around 1:25 signed the sheet and went to the Adult Medicine on second floor. I approached this medical assistant for my walk in and she told me that I had to wait, which I never had a problem with. And after me telling her I wait she very disrespectful and with no eye contact or any kind of empathy she told even if I waited I wouldn't be seen. I then asked her with hope what the best I should do if I could come tomorrow or have an appointment. She with anger expressed to me that she didn't know and asked for my doctor when I couldn't remember her name she started to laugh about how she couldn't help me if I couldn't remember her name. She embarrassed me. I have anxiety and situations like these triggered my anxiety. I felt hopeless, I felt pain, and embarrassed. I can't comprehend the lack of empathy towards a patient. I left crying and I hope that the supervisor I spoke with can address this event. Hoping nobody goes through this because is just sad.

Every time I arrive its always a 30 minute wait, but if you show up even a minute late they cancel your whole appointment? but if you go to dental its okay to be late??? And when i went to dental Sanchez was very unprofessional. Was mocked when I couldn’t respond to him in spanish. I knew him for less than 10 seconds at this point. Felt very disrespected. I’d suggest someone refresh him on proper bedside manner because that was a really upsetting thing to hear from someone who Im trusting to help me get healthy. Its a shame bc this places Womens Health department was good to me just 3 months prior (even with the long waits). And its a great place to pick up medication as well in terms of pricing. But with experiences like this I don't know if I feel welcome enough to keep going there.
