The place to go for services and help with independent living and a wide variety of them too. The first step to an independent life in my opinion. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff are there to teach you how to make it happen for you.

We regularly met for dinner with an elderly neighbor near the end of his life. As he progressed towards the end, HASL counselors came by to discuss his options for care at no cost to him. They also helped source equipment to help him through a brief in-home hospice care. I cannot thank them enough for all they do to help those in need. I have a deep respect for those who stand up for the needy and insure justice is done.

They were very helpful and speedy in allowing the free rental of some equipment we needed for my mom. Probably 10 minutes total to go in fill out the form and walk out with a walker and a riser. They were very kind as well.
